An oasis of peace and nature in the Brachter Wald
Just across the border, near EuroParcs Maasduinen, lies the beautiful Brachter Wald nature reserve. In this vast, car-free area, you’ll find an oasis of tranquility, dense forests, and a unique, rolling heathland landscape where nature has been given free rein. During a leisurely walk or bike ride along the well-maintained trails, you might just come face to face with grazing Konik horses, Scottish Galloways, or a herd of fallow deer. From the observation deck, you can also enjoy a stunning view of this special part of the Maas-Swalm-Nette Border Park.
